After Shanghai, Ningbo will also start to implement garbage sorting from October 1st, 2019 officially . The regulations state that if an individual or company failed to dispose of domestic waste in accordance with the regulations will be fined 20 to 5000 yuan.
要说今年夏天引起最广泛关注与热烈讨论的社会话题，那必然是垃圾分类。继上海之后，宁波也将从2019年10月1日起正式施行垃圾分类。《宁波市生活垃圾分类管理条例》中指出，个人若未按规定分类投放生活垃圾的，有可能面临20~5000元不等的罚款。
At first, you could learn more about the garbage sorting in Ningbo. The municipal solid waste in Ningbo is divided into four categories, Kitchen waste, Recyclable, Harmful waste and Other waste, one-to-one correspondence with four colors and categories.

The Green means Kitchen waste.
绿色代表厨余垃圾。
It refers to the organic domestic waste produced in the household life of residents and in the market of agricultural products. Leftovers, melon peel and shell, waste food seasoning, residue and fallen leaves all belong to kitchen waste.
主要是指居民家庭生活中以及农产品市场产生的有机类生活垃圾。剩菜剩饭、瓜皮果壳、废弃食品调料、残渣落叶都属于厨余垃圾。
The Blue means Recyclable.
蓝色代表可回收物。
It refers to articles that can be processed as raw materials for production or can be reused after finishing. Waste paper, waste plastic, waste metal, waste fabric, waste glass, waste electrical and electronic products, large pieces of waste are all belong to recyclable.
主要是指经过加工可以成为生产原料或者经过整理可以再利用的物品。废纸类、废塑料、废金属、废织物、废玻璃、废电器电子产品、大件垃圾都属于可回收物。
The Red means Harmful waste.
红色代表有害垃圾。
It refers to garbage contains substances that cause direct or potential harm to human body or the natural environment. Waste household medical supplies, waste paint solvents, waste lamp tubes, waste rechargeable batteries and circuit boards are harmful waste.主要是指垃圾中含有对人体健康或自然环境造成直接或潜在危害的物质。废家用医护用品、废涂料溶剂、废旧灯管、废充电电池和电路板都属于有害垃圾。
The Black means Other waste.
黑色代表其他垃圾。
It refers to those wastes that are difficult to recycle and have no recycling value for the time being. Contaminated and unrecyclable paper, unrecyclable daily necessities and lime-soil ceramics belong to other waste.
主要指那些难以回收以及暂无回收利用价值的废弃物。受污染与不宜再生利用的纸张、不宜再生利用的生活用品、灰土陶瓷等都属于其他垃圾。
